HS Safaris was established in 2017 and is owned and operated by myself, Henno Cronje. After 15 years of experience as a full-time professional hunter, a lifelong dream came true when I founded HS Safaris. I have always believed that the success of a safari is reflected in the memories that you take home with you after the safari. I also believe that the foundation of a memorable safari lies in honest, hard work, and respect for nature and all wildlife. This is the basis of what you will experience on your African safari with HS Safaris.

It is for these reasons, that I only hunt in specially selected hunting areas that can provide you, the hunter with that once in a lifetime safari experience. My objective is to provide each hunter with the most memorable safari and share the beauty that only Africa has to offer. With extensive experience in a dangerous game, plains game, wing shooting and bowhunting, I am able to provide each hunter with a custom hunting experience with memories that will last for a lifetime.

HS Safaris is based in Bloemfontein, in central South Africa. Although I do most of my plains game hunting and wing shooting in the Southern and Western Free State province, I have access to some of the finest hunting areas across South Africa which offer great diversity of species and landscape. Bow hunting is done in the Northwest province on a property that is strictly reserved for bow hunting. I also lived and hunted full-time in Mozambique for 7 years, which gave me access to some of the most pristine hunting areas in Mozambique. It is in these areas that I do most of my dangerous game hunting.
