The Kalahari is definitely a must for every hunter. It has a certain ‘’feel’’ to it that is so unique. The very distinctive Camel Thorn trees in the red dunes and the endless herds of wildlife make this such a wonderful place to come and appreciate nature in its purest form.
One of our biggest passions is hunting with the youth and passing on the hunting skills that we gained through years of experience, together with the respect for the animals and the environment that goes with it.
The kids did great on this hunt, and they enjoyed it just as much as their dads did. A great thanks to Ian and the rest of the group for letting us share this great experience with them.
When teaching the kids about hunting, the shooting range is one of the most important places to spend time. This where the foundations of rifle safety, shooting skill and confidence with the rifle is laid. It was such a great privilege to help these great kids refine their skills on the range.
Father and son on their first hunt together. It was such a pleasure to guide these two gentlemen on their first hunt together. All the time on the range paid off. Walking and stalking your first springbuck in the red dunes is probably one of the best ways to take your first animal.
These kids did so great on this hunt, walking and stalking all their springbuck in the dunes. We are so proud of you!

Grandpa also managed to do some hunting of his own. These two rams had no idea where we were when we stalked them. We made a perfect shot on the first one of the sticks at 130 yards, then the other one also gave us a chance and dropped within 30 yards of the first one.
Pete got this Springbuck and Gemsbuck on a great walk & stalk hunt with his Bushman guide.

One of the greatest things about hunting in the Kalahari is sharing that first cup of coffee in the morning by the campfire with good friends while you watch the sun come up over the dunes.
On this hunt, we were fortunate enough to experience some thunderstorms in the Kalahari while we’re on the hunt. We went for a hike in the dunes when the rain caught us off guard and we ended up having to walk back to the vehicle in the pouring rain.
