Shane, Greg & Andy – 2021
In August 2021 I had the pleasure of accompanying these three friends on a bow hunt to my good friends, Rupert & Hennie Venter at Dream Team Safaris. We all had an unbelievable Safari. Some truly exceptional trophies were taken, and some really good shots were made by these fine gentlemen. Another great hunt with great friends.
Andy got these two great Impala’s early in the Safari.
This was without a doubt one of the greatest bow hunting experiences that I have ever had. Shane got this exceptional 46-inch Sable bull on foot. He made a perfect shot and the bull dropped after just about 30 yards from where he was shot.
Shane was looking for a good Nyala bull the whole week, and right on the last morning this beautiful bull gave a chance. Shane finished the week at Dream Team on a high with this exceptional bull.
Greg started his hunt with this magnificent 44-inch sable bull right on the first day of hunting. It took only one perfectly placed shot to drop this bull.
Two more great animals taken by Andy. The Golden Wildebeest gave him the run-around for a few days, but he finally managed to drop it with a textbook heart shot.
Hunting a Springbuck with a bow is high on every bow hunter’s list. Shane managed to get this old ram and tick it off his list quite early in the safari.
